The Scrabble group meet as follows:-

Day : First Tuesday of every month

Time: 1.45 pm for 2.00pm. and finish about 4.00pm.  It is essential that play starts at 2pm in order to fit in two games.

Games: Usually two games with a break between games for refreshments and a short chat. Play is for fun and to improve Scrabble playing skills. 

  High scores are noted and celebrated. The Scrabble boards swivel and the tiles have extra large print.  

Place:  Penrith Methodist Church, Wordsworth Street, Penrith, CA11 7QY. 

Room: Beacon room (lift available)

Parking:  Around the Penrith Methodist church unlimited time. In Drovers Lane free for 2 hours  (display a parking disc)

Contribution: Towards the room hire, currently £2.00 each. This may vary. Please try to bring coins as change cannot always be given!
