There are 2 Pottery groups meeting on a Tuesday, one in the morning 10 to 1 followed by an afternoon session 1 to 4

We are untutored groups with a range of abilities and experience.

Techniques we use vary and include:

HAND-BUILT pieces

SLAB work

WHEEL THROWN pots

SCULPTURAL pieces

COIL FORMED pieces

Pieces are made on an individual basis, with each member working to their own designs and at their own pace.

Although we are untutored, we share tips and advice based on our individual areas of experience and knowledge.

Our venue is at Mary Chappelhow’s Interlude Ceramics at Brougham Hall where we rent space and kiln firing facilities.

Payment is by a £30 monthly Standing Order plus a £5 payment in cash for each session attended.

Large bags of clay are purchased from Mary.
